Choose a Bible reading plan and stick with it!

There are three plans above, and others are available elsewhere on the internet.

The One Year Bible Plan takes you through the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, in a year's time.  It follows the biblical order of the Protestant canon with the exception of Psalms and Proverbs, which are interspersed among other readings.

The One Year Combined Plan takes you through the entire Bible in a year, reading both testaments concurrently.  This keeps the New Testament before you throughout the year.

The 302 Day Gospel Plan takes you through the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) in under a year.  This plan is good for those trying to establish a pattern of Bible reading who want to deal in smaller blocks of text.  Its focus is, as the title suggests, entirely on the gospels.  New Christians or those with little biblical knowledge may want to start here, though whole-Bible awareness should be a longer term goal.
